Chris Thomas
Band DirectorMr Thomas has been heading the bands at Bainbridge High School since the 2012-2013 school year. Since his arrival, the program has won many gold medals at contests all around the Puget Sound. Mr Thomas takes pride in Bainbridge's balanced approach to building a quality band that is a great experience for young people each year. He loves what performance, leadership, and culture building opportunities marching band lends to each student, each year.
Originally from the Bellingham area, Chris has earned degrees from Shoreline Community College, Central Washington University, and The University of Montana, where he worked as a graduate teaching assistant in all areas of the university's band department. Mr Thomas lives on Bainbridge Island with his brilliant wife, Lauren, and their incessantly charming cat, Boomer.

Individuals CoachHello, my name is Zac! I've been with the Spartan Marching Band since I was in 8th grade in 2011. Even then there was a long tradition of past alumni coming back to help out and give back to the program. I'm here carrying on that tradition.
Kendal Donnelly
Guard Assistant & Marching TechKendal is a graduate of the BHS colorguard program and current colorguard tech. Between graduation and her return to tech, Kendal spun independently with Rhapsody winterguard. She holds the Bainbridge guard very dear to her heart and is eager to come back and coach the new generation of guard members.

Front Ensemble TechMolly Montgomery, our front ensemble tech, is a graduate of the BHS band program. After many successful years with the band, she has moved on to study music education at Central Washington University. In her spare time, Molly enjoys working at the daycare on campus, playing tennis, and most importantly, playing the drums!
