BHS is not running a choir class this year, but interested students should join the choir club!

Choir Members

Choir meets Thuesdays and/or Thursdays after school in the band room. This is the first year of after school choir, so things will be a little flexible until a groove is discovered. Interested students should email Ms Olinger for the Google Classroom join code at wolinger@bisd303.org.

Choir Parents

Choir parents are going to be crucial in our efforts to build a choir program at Sakai, Woodward, and BHS. Please watch for emails from Ms Olinger, and consider volunteering at our choir events this year.

Course Description

Choir is an exciting and fun way to learn more about music. Through practice and performance, choir members learn about vocal health and technique and develop their vocal skills, while singing in a group. Our choir sings a wide variety of music, including classical music, pop, musical theater, jazz, and more! Depending on the group, we might perform concerts and travel to festivals. All choir members will be eligible to participate in All-State and other high level individual contests. All skill levels are welcome in choir!
